Trip to Snyder

Travis had a class in Houston a few weeks ago, so Preston and I made our first trip ALONE to Snyder to see Nana and Papa. It was a great week, and we had a lot of fun!

We built towers with blocks with Papa.  Then we knocked them down,
only to rebuild again, ofcourse.
Austin and Mandi came to visit on the weekend.  Little Man loved
riding around on the tractor with Uncle Austin.

Nana time on the swing.

Talking on the phone with Auntie Aryn...so fitting.  Both
are obsessed with technical things.

Hoping to get better at this...

Okay, I am as bad at this as I thought I was going to be.  Hopefully I will get better.  I really don't know how some people find the time to blog as much as they do.  I've talked to some moms who blog before their children get up in the morning.  I get up before Preston, but I am drinking my two cups of coffee before I do anything.  By the time I finish them both, he is normally waking up.  Other moms say they get everything done including blogging after their children go to sleep....not me.  We put little man down around 8:00 and then it is chill time.  10:00 rolls around and I'm off to bed and as soon as my head hits the pillow, I'm out.  So, I'm going to have to find a time in my day where this blogging thing is more convienent.  Perhaps I will try during Preston's nap time.  He is asleep as I type this.

On another note:
I received a new camera for my birthday/Valentine's Day, which for those of you who do not know, happen to fall 2 days apart from each other.  I am in love not only with the camera and the creativity it brings out in me but with the adorable camera strap that my hubby ordered online for me.  SO CUTE!  It looks just like me!  Now, I would like to figure out how to start posting pics to the blog....one thing at a time for Ms. Technically Challenged.  My sister will probably be receiving a call for help.  (Aryn got the computer smarts.)  :)

Here She Goes...

Yes, I have decided to blog.  I don't really know why.  Most people I know that have blogs are either famous or have had some sort of life changing event they have felt led to share.  I am not famous.  I am only me.  A child of God, a wife to an amazing man, and a mother to a precious little boy.  All of these are my inspirations.  So, anything that I blog about will probably revolve around one of the three.  But I figure, why not give it a try? The Pioneer Woman does it.  My friends do it.  Why can't I?  (Probably because I am not the most "technology smart" person, but oh well.  So....here it goes....wish me luck....
